Lesotho April 2012

After a good long weekend in Lesotho and some tough riding conditions i reflect on the trip.

Myself, Tewie and his son Jurie hit the trail friday morning early entering Lesotho from Fouriesburg. Heading towards Katse Dam via Mokhotlong and on to Sani Pass.

Road were terrible and Sani Pass was almost unmanagable on the big GS. Tewie Came of 3 times and Jurie twice on the pass.

We had a very good time though and it must have been the prettiest Lesotho i have seen so far. We found our new favourite camping spot next to Katse dam!

I had some good time to practise some riding skills. The roads were tuff and we spent a good 9 hours pounding away at 202km.  I packed very light to try and keep it simple…it worked!

Over all good weekend and some quality time thinking of the Africa trip.
